Chain guns, chemical throwers, tiberium auto rifles and a host of other weapons let you pick the way you want to play. GDI's Deadeye comes equipped with a sniper rifle, while Nods' Black Hand troops come with laser rifles. If you'd like to get a little more ambitious, you can purchase any of the ten specialist characters on each side. It's this other weapon that really defines your role. While it's a much more passive role, the engineer's ability to repair buildings and units as well as carry numerous C4 charges make them a really viable class to play.Įach class has a pistol, a C4 charge and some other weapon. The basic soldiers, shotgunners, grenadiers and flame troops are the basic units of Renegade. The various character classes allow you to select the type of role you'd like to play. You also get quite a bit of money for healing your own units and structures. But you'll also gain money from killing enemies and destroying buildings. In keeping with the C&C theme, this makes enemy harvesters a prime target. The more your team harvests, the more money you'll have. All players gain Tiberium credits as a consequence of harvesting.
